Bold Ideas Network is an AI software studio based in Lagos, Nigeria. We build and operate AI-powered products including Brian (social media management), Master (AI education platform), FitSnapper AI, BK Progress, and Financial A. This Privacy Policy covers our website (boldideasnetwork.com) and all products we operate.

• Information you provide: name, email, messages via contact forms or sign-ups.
• Account information: login credentials and profile details for product accounts.
• Connected platform data: for Brian, we access only data and permissions you explicitly authorize via OAuth on LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Facebook, and Instagram — including user ID, profile data, access tokens, post IDs, and platform metadata.
• Content you provide: text, images, videos, and media you submit for publishing through Brian.
• Usage data: device type, browser, pages visited, aggregated interaction metrics.
• Operational logs: event timestamps, error logs, API response codes for service improvement.
• We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unless you include it in content you provide.

• To provide, operate, and improve our products and services.
• To publish content on your behalf (Brian users).
• To respond to contact form inquiries.
• To send service-related communications (opt out anytime).
• To comply with platform developer terms: LinkedIn Developer Agreement, X Developer Agreement, TikTok Developer Terms, YouTube API Services Terms, and Meta Platform Terms.
• To comply with applicable Nigerian law and international data protection standards.
• We do not sell your personal information.

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) when you authorize OAuth connections.
• Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) to deliver services you request.
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for security and diagnostics.

We share data only with: service providers necessary to operate our products (hosting, analytics, email delivery) bound by data protection obligations; social media platforms as necessary to publish your content via their APIs; and where required by law. We do not sell data.

• Access tokens: retained only while valid or until you revoke access.
• Posts and schedules: retained to provide service or until deletion requested.
• Logs: up to 90 days for diagnostics.
• Account data: until account deletion requested.

We use TLS/SSL encryption in transit, restricted access controls, secure secret storage, and platform-recommended security practices.

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing.
• Revoke platform access via each platform's settings.
• Request data portability.

Google API Services / YouTube (Limited Use)

Bold Ideas Network's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs (including YouTube Data API Services) to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to serve advertising, do not allow humans to read it (except with your explicit consent, for security, or to comply with law), and do not transfer it for purposes unrelated to the features you authorized. By using Brian's YouTube integration you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Brian's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads)

Our use of Meta Platform data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We only request the minimum permissions required to publish content you authorize, we do not sell or share Meta data with third parties, and we honor user data deletion requests via the dedicated callback at boldideasnetwork.com/data-deletion.

TikTok

Our use of TikTok data complies with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and TikTok Platform Use Guidelines. We process and store only the data and tokens necessary to publish on your behalf, retain them only as long as authorization is valid, and delete them when you revoke access or request deletion.

LinkedIn

Our use of LinkedIn data complies with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use. We use LinkedIn member data only for the publishing features you authorize and never for marketing, advertising, or sale to third parties.

X (Twitter)

Our use of X data complies with the X Developer Agreement and Policy.

Services are not directed to children under 13. Master (education product) operates under parent or teacher accounts. Contact us if you believe we have collected data from a child — we will delete it promptly.

California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (we do not sell data) and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

We operate from Nigeria. Data may be processed in other jurisdictions. We apply appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses.

We update the Effective Date when this policy changes. Material changes are communicated via website notice or email.
